Live Interview by Freda Liu at BFM 89.9 The Business Station @ 10am

First time on air... nervous of coz.... hahaha... this photo was taken before the interview...

At BFM 89.9 The Business Station, Freda Liu was going to
interview me very soon...
Cannot prepare much as BFM usually do not provide guided questions, well.... time flies...Freda was very friendly and nice, she kept on smiling to me to make me feel comfortable... it makes the situation just like chatting with friend in a cafe instead of a formal interview.. :)...

Now I have to be patient, wait for the interview to be loaded on to BFM website... haha...

Thanks so much for all the supports that I received from facebook, sms, msn etc... It really helps... Thanks again :)

Course Preview @ 27 March, Sat, 1-4pm @ADAMAS School of Wedding

The Course Preview was very successfully held. Before I begin to go through the event, I would like to thank Sylvia & Hui Ting my 2 assistants who spent lots of their time organising this event. I would also like to thank Sara, Cindy, Joey & Kathleen in assisting in the event. It will not be the same without all of you being here. :)

The theme for the Course Preview - Windmill of Opportunity.

A Beautiful windmill will need wind to make it turn,
but the wind does not always exist.
It's similar to opportunity in life,
it will just go past you without even you noticing.
Final setup was carried out in the morning such as the food arrangement, final arrangement of the favour, reception table, centerpiece etc.

After this was the presentation given on "Centerpiece Idea: East Meets West" by Joey & Kathleen. Both English and & Chinese Language had been used. They explained to the guests how they came out with this ideas and the meaning of the color used for their centerpiece. "This year is a very aspecial year, the first day of Chinese New Year is also the Valentine Day. It is a combination of the West and the East. They have chosen red, white and gold as their theme colour. White symbolises the bride, she has the patience, love & tranquility. Red symbolises the groom, aggressive in his career, and passionate about her new live. Gold symbolises their prosperous life..."

A group photo was taken with all the guests who attended this Course Preview before the refresehment. Some of the guests had to leave earlier. Due to that reason, we decided to shift my Special Talk on the Wedding Design to before "Making of Corsage". At least they would not miss this Special Talk. Cindy left earlier as well as she had to rush back for her sis's wedding dinner, I was pleased that she came to give the presentation. It was a good turn out, we were all glad that the guests had a good time. We had also prepared the comment cards for the guests to fill in, this could assist us in making the event even better in the future. Thanks again to all the guests who participate in the Course Preview, we were glad that you came and we hope that you had learned something from the session. :)

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, USA

We went to Bryce Canyon National Park today, we started our journey late as we have to book for the room in Las Vegas. Well… when we headed to the park it was already 11am. Wow the place was covered with snow and according to the Ranger in the park, we were expecting snow today.
Anyway we headed to the famous view point, we started off from the few view point closest to the Visitor Center, as the ranger suggested us to go there as those were the must go places in Bryce, since the visibility is still high, Bryce Point, Inspiration Point followed by Sunset Point & Sunrise Point. The view was magnificent.

Took many photos as usual. Then we headed to the 18miles Scenic Drive, we listened to the advise from the Ranger to go all the way to the end, on our way back then only we start stopping at the view point, it was good of us to have listened to her. On the way back it started snowing.
I was so happy to be in the snow! hahaha.
It was snowing so heavily that we could not get down to take photo as the visibility is close to ZERO.
The snow got so heavy and we had to stop at Bryce for another night. It was impossible to drive all the way to Zion in this weather. The visibility is near to Zero when we drove back from the scenic drive, could not even see the car in front of us. We missed the stop at the Natural Bridge we will go again tomorrow. So, we booked for another night at Bryce, we stayed at Best Western Ruby Inn, which was the oldest accommodation in Bryce. Nice place with souvenir shops, restaurant at the ground floor, a very happening place. We stopped by here the last time I was here with my parents for souvenir stop haha.
Our rented car on the left covered with snow!
We had dinner at Ruby Inn Restaurant-buffet dinner.
Wood Carving - looks so real isn't it?
Indoor swimming pool - view from outside of our room.

Capitol Reef National Park, Utah, USA

Today we headed early to the Capitol Reef National Park, this is not a porpular park for tourist, but it was really beautiful. It was covered with snow. The town-Torrey that we stayed for the night was about elevation 7000ft.

We drove through the scenic drive in the park; it was 10miles and it took us about 2 hrs as we stopped by at almost all the spots that were beautiful.

After the 10mi scenic drive, we drove along highway 24 further to get more beautiful scenery as according the Park Ranger, it was as nice as the 10mi scenic drive. We stopped by at the Fruita Schoolhouse, I will name my reading section in my new office - Fruita Reading Corner, isn't the name beautiful. The school dated back to 1896. We could see all the antique desks, chairs etc used by the students.
Fruita Schoolhouse

Around 2pm, we headed to Bryce Canyon National Park, we took the route 12, one of the most scenic route in the USA. It was really gorgeous, the road was quite winding, at some point it had an elevation of near to 10,000ft. The temperature at some point was near to 35 F.
The snow besides the road is taller than me :)

On the way we stopped at Boulder, a small town along route 12 for lunch. Nice little restaurant, we had spicy pork with rice, their specialty and turkey melt.

After that we continued our journey to Bryce National Park, we stopped at a few places for photo shoot. Along the way we saw lots of wild dears crossing the road, we saw some wild turkeys as well.

It was about 7.30pm when we arrived at our hotel – Best Western Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel. It was really cosy with a fire place at the lobby with some huge sofas and rocking chairs.

We went to the store at Ruby Inn which was opposite to our hotel to buy some food as we were still full from our heavy lunch. Did some work that night before heading to bed. At least manage to get the RSVP for the Course preview online and modified the invitation to be sent out to the press and those who are interested.
